Cobbs Mountain Farm was purchased in 1988 by Michael and Marie Klimchuk. The barn standing on the property was demolished, and a contractor was hired to erect a new frame. Michael completed all the remaining work for the first version of the barn you see today.
Since then, Marie, Michael and numerous friends and family members have undertaken many more construction projects, including a second smaller barn, lunging and riding arenas, several extensions onto the main barn, and miles of three board fencing.
The farm encompasses 25 acres of which 20 are fenced and cross fenced for use as pasture. Diligent pasture maintenance results in abundant quality forage. The current facilities offer 8 stalls, a hot/cold wash stall, heated tack room and lounge, a paved center aisle, a round pen and a large riding arena with lights and groomed footing.
